The Miniature Pinscher is a small, compact, muscular, sleek dog with square proportions and well-chiseled lines. The Miniature Pinscher is structurally a well balanced, sturdy, compact, short-coupled, smooth-coated dog. They are naturally well groomed, proud, vigorous and alert. Characteristic traits are their hackney-like action, fearless animation, complete self-possession, and their spirited presence.

 Height 'n Weight:

Height: Dogs 10-12 inches and Bitches 10-11 inches

Weight: Dogs 8-10 pounds and Bitches 8-9 pounds

 Temperament: 

They are brave and tend to be a big dog in a little dogs frame they sometimes take on similar characteristics of the Doberman. They make excellent watchdogs. This proud, overly courageous dog likes to bark. These dogs are very lively and enjoy being active, so they can be quite demanding when it comes to attention and fuss. This breed is recommended for households with only well-behaved children and would do well with other pets if properly socialized. They are peppy little dogs that enjoy the company of their companions. Beware, this little dog will chew small objects and may choke on them.

 Exercise needs: 

This breed needs proper exercise, as they are very inquisitive and vigorous. Play will take care of a lot of their exercise. They will also enjoy a good romp in a safe open area off lead, such as a large fenced in yard. The Miniature Pinscher needs a daily walk.

 Trainability:

The Miniature Pinscher can learn extremely well and wants very much to do so. As these dogs are eager, responsive, and quick to learn, they are easy to train.

 Nutrition & Diet:

This breed has no special dietary requirements, but the diet should be well balanced and nutritious.Always buy high quality kibble and caned foods for your dog and make sure that your dog always has access to fresh water for drinking. Remember, do not overfeed this breed.

  Living conditions:

The Miniature Pinscher is good for apartment life. It is very active indoors and will do okay without a yard.

 Life expectancy:  

A healthy and fit Miniature Pinscher can expect to live for around 12 to 14 years.

The Miniature Pinscher is a toy dog breed that originates from Germany.They were used to control the numbers of rats and vermin; they used them in stables and farmyards. The word "Pinscher" means "terrier" in German. Today the MinPin's high spirit and bright personality make him a charming companion.
